£400 raised for the Royal British Legion

100 years on from the Armistice of 1918, we remembered. Today, our Head Girl from 1952 – Maureen Knox – laid a wreath with our current Head Girl and Boy to mark the occasion. Thank you to Father Wal from St. Peter’s Church who led us through the blessing of our war memorial today and the 2 minutes silence. Through poppy sales, cake stalls and hand crafted poppies, students were able to raise £400 for the Royal British Legion.
